Survey of Occupational Therapists Working in PDS

Share your experience of working in PDS

The rollout of Progressing Disability Services (PDS) in 2021 has been the biggest change to date in the way children’s services in Ireland are being delivered. The Association of Occupational Therapists Ireland (AOTI) recognises that this has presented many challenges to Occupational Therapists working in the area.

AOTI would like to gain an understanding of the impact this has had on Occupational Therapists working in PDS by surveying those working in Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNTs) and Paediatric Primary Care Services as the key components of PDS. If you have worked or are working in either of these services in Ireland, we invite you to participate in our survey. The survey is open to all Occupational Therapists in Ireland and is not limited to AOTI members. Please circulate the link to your Occupational Therapy colleagues so that we can gather as wide a response as possible.

Participation in the survey is voluntary and anonymous. The responses to this survey may be used by AOTI in the following ways:

  • Published in aggregate to highlight findings
  • Used to inform AOTI advocacy and member representation

You can participate in the survey here: www.surveymonkey.com/r/RJ7BFY9

The closing date to complete the survey is 5th May 2023.
