Significant Reduction in Private Practice Insurance Premiums for 2026
We are delighted to announce that we have negotiated a substantial reduction in the cost of private practice insurance for 2026 along with increased levels of cover. Members who hold practising type membership are eligible to avail of this insurance package.
These improved rates were agreed following detailed discussions with Arachas and reflect our ongoing commitment to secure value for money for members while ensuring strong protection for Occupational Therapists working in private practice.

Standalone Fitness to Practise Cover
We are continuing discussions with Arachas to secure a more affordable Fitness to Practise cover rate (was €105 in 2025). We will update members once these discussions conclude.
