Relaunch of NOTMAG

AOTI is delighted to announce the relaunch of NOTMAG – the National Occupational Therapist Managers Advisory Group to support the peer learning, professional development, and advocacy needs of OT Managers across Ireland.

After a period of inactivity, our committee is reenergised and ready to move forward. Working closely with AOTI staff, we are excited to introduce monthly online Peer Support & Networking Drop-In Sessions exclusively for NOTMAG members.

As Ireland’s healthcare system undergoes significant structural reform most notably through the establishment of Health Regions and the merging of services into defined geographical and governance areas, there are major implications for all areas of care: acute hospitals, disability, primary and social care, paediatrics, palliative care, and mental health. These changes will affect HSE, Voluntary, Private, Section 38 and Section 39 services alike.

In this context, communication and collaboration among OT Managers is essential. We must come together to share information, safeguard our roles and services, and ensure our voices are heard.

As the key management advisory voice within AOTI, NOTMAG needs representation from OT Managers across all clinical areas. Your experience and insights are vital not only to influence AOTI’s advocacy efforts, but also to build a strong, supportive community of peers.

That’s why we’ve created the NOTMAG Peer Support and Networking Drop-In Sessions, a space for OT Managers to connect, collaborate, and navigate this period of change together.

We warmly invite all OT Managers and Acting OT Managers to join NOTMAG:
