Recruitment of Accreditation Committee Members

The Accreditation Committee oversees the accreditation, re-accreditation and monitoring of Occupational Therapy Education programmes at Higher Education Institutions across the Republic of Ireland on behalf of AOTI and the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT). With the expected growth in the number of college places in Occupational Therapy programmes in the coming years, the role of the Accreditation Committee is more important than ever. We are now seeking applications from members who would like to join the Committee.

• An opportunity to be part of the accreditation/re-accreditation of Occupational Therapy educational programmes in Ireland.
• A valuable CPD experience for Occupational Therapists to enhance professional skills such as teamwork, process management and planning.
• Receive training on Accreditation and Re-Accreditation processes
• A chance to use and develop project management, people management and resource management skills.
• An opportunity to gain insight into the activities of your professional body and to play a key role in an important AOTI activity that is valued by members.
