Parents Plus and JP McManus sponsorship 2024 to 2025 for OTs working in County Limerick and County Clare

Parents Plus have a new round of JP McManus Benevolent Fund sponsorship on offer to train and support facilitators in two of our programmes – Parents Plus Early Years (PPEY) Programme and the Parents Plus Special Needs (PPSN) Programme.  The opportunity is open to professionals in Primary Care, charities and Family Resource Centres who are providing support to families of children with additional support needs/diability in County Clare and County Limerick only. Here is a link to our website if you’d like to find out more about these two programmes: www.parentsplus.ie

Please email me at [email protected] if you would like an application form to apply for Benevolent Fund sponsorship.

The Benevolent Fund is a great opportunity for OTs who are working in County Limerick or County Clare to undertake facilitator training in the PPSN and/or PPEY Programmes. The cost of the training place and materials is covered by the sponsorship as well as post-training coaching as you deliver Parents Plus Programmes in your setting. You must be working as an OT who is supporting families of children or young people with additional needs/disability.

Note: Parents Plus have a separate project running with CDNTs nationwide 2024 to 2026 and OTs on CDNTs are not eligible to apply for the above Benevolent Fund

All AOTI members are invited to the Parents Plus webinar on 13/11/24 on Zoom at 9.15am to 11.30am to find out more about our eight evidence-based programmes.
