National eHealth Library for Ireland - Help us shape the future of eHealth Library Resources
A National Steering Group are leading out on a project to scope the feasibility of establishing a National eHealth Library for Ireland. The aim of this short survey is to understand what the demand is for online resources which support the care of patients and service users.
The proposed library would provide a single website for free and equal access to a range of online library resources such as BMJ Best Practice, CINAHL, UpToDate for all healthcare professionals working in the Irish health system, both public and private providers. A pilot website is available at www.ehealthlibrary.ie
The survey is anonymous, and all responses will be treated in the strictest confidence. You will not be asked for your personal contact information, nor will there be a follow-up contact from a member of our staff. Your participation in the survey is greatly appreciated and will inform the business case to support the establishment of a National eHealth Library for Ireland. The survey will take no longer than 10 mins to complete and deadline for submitting your survey responses is 31/12/2025.
