National Clinical Guideline: Radiological Staging and Surveillance of patients with cutaneous melanoma


The National Cancer Control Programme have published a ‘National Clinical Guideline: Radiological Staging and Surveillance of patients with cutaneous melanoma’.

The National Clinical Guideline is now available on the HSE National Central Repository and can be accessed via:

The guideline was developed by a multi-disciplinary guideline development group chaired by Dr Sinead Field, Consultant Dermatologist, University Hospital Limerick and Dr Eve O’Toole, Head of Evidence & Quality in the NCCP.

The purpose of this National Clinical Guideline is to provide evidence based recommendations on the staging and surveillance of patients with cutaneous melanoma through the integration of the best research evidence with clinical expertise, patient values and experiences.
