Eden Programme - Suicide Prevention Programme

AOTI have been asked to spread the word about the above programme with the hope of reaching people who might benefit from attending

----------------------------------

Eden is an educational programme with a therapeutic element for people over the age of 18 years who have attempted or thought about suicide.

It runs one morning a week for 26 weeks and can accommodate up to 16 participants per programme.  The programme provides a safe space where participants can explore their experiences, develop the skills to monitor and manage their own mental health, and build a range of supports to meet their particular needs.  The ultimate aim of the programme is to support participants to move away from suicide as an option of choice in times of crisis.  The programme has been running since 2007 and has been externally evaluated by DCU on a number of occasions (evaluations can be found here Eden Programme | Suicide Support | Suicide or Survive).

We are currently recruiting participants for 3 Eden Programmes that will commence in September 2023, one in Dublin City Centre on Thursday mornings, one in Kildare Town (for people from Kildare and West Wicklow) on Wednesday mornings, and one Online (which will run on Wednesday evenings for people from anywhere in the country).

Please see Eden Programme, Eden Kildare, Eden Dublin, Eden Online.  We are asking that you display the posters in a location where people who could benefit from attending may see them, and that you pass the information about the programme on to anyone who could benefit from attending or might know someone who could.

Thanking you in advance for your support with this
