Celebrate Occupational Therapy Week 2025

Occupational Therapy Week 2025 takes place from 27th October to 2nd November and we’re looking forward to celebrating the vital work of Occupational Therapists across Ireland. #OTweek is a time to:
- Celebrate the Occupational Therapy profession
- Champion the incredible work Occupational Therapists do
- Profile the value of Occupational Therapy services
- Highlight the many life-enhancing benefits people experience through Occupational Therapy intervention
This year, OT Week begins with World Occupational Therapy Day on Monday 27th October, with the global theme: Occupational Therapy in Action. AOTI has adapted this theme for OT Week to reflect three key dimensions of Occupational Therapy:
- Participation: Empowering you to engage fully in everyday life – at home, at school, at work and in the community.
- Integration: Focusing on you, your environment and the everyday activities that matter to you.
- Collaboration: Partnering with you and those around you to support your independence, quality of life and wellbeing.
We encourage all members to take part in celebrating the profession – in your workplace or online. Download and share our OT Week 2025 poster and social media graphics below to help spread the word about the value and impact of Occupational Therapy.
