AOTI Position Paper on Occupational Therapy and Older Adults

We are pleased to announce the publication of a new AOTI document Position Paper on Occupational Therapy and Older Adults which was compiled by the Older Persons Advisory Group (OPAG).

The purpose of this position paper is to increase awareness of the value of Occupational Therapy in supporting older people to participate fully in society and to act as a resource for occupational therapists practicing in this area. I would like to thank the members of OPAG who wrote this excellent document which contributes to a growing repository of publications that both advance and promote our profession. The authors are Paula Lavery, Sinead McGirr, Joanne Murphy, Ruth Usher, Claire Rooney and Fiona Tobin. Sincere thanks to you all.

You can download a copy of the new position paper here. It is also available in the Publications section of the website. You must be logged in to download this document as it is a member-only resource.
