Salary scale: Senior Occupational Therapist (pro rata)
Position: Part-time (0.6 WTE / 22. 5 hours).
AOTI is seeking applications for maternity leave cover for the role of Director of Professional Operations. The Director of Professional Operations is a relatively new role within AOTI in response to the continued growth and development of the organisation. AOTI is a member-based organisation with over 1900 members. As the professional body representing the Occupational Therapy profession in Ireland, our member volunteers are central to the operation of the organisation. The Director of Professional Operations draws on their professional experience as an Occupational Therapist to work in AOTI and support the member volunteers as well as the continued evolution of the organisation.
Reporting to the AOTI Chief Executive Officer (CEO), they work as part of a highly motivated small team of staff members. They also collaborate directly with talented volunteer Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants, in a dynamic environment. Working closely with the CEO and the voluntary Management Team, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of the professional body.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity leave cover. The contract is anticipated to commence in July 2025 and will end in June 2026, or upon the return of the postholder, whichever is sooner.
