AOTI Council Membership Opportunity
The Council of the Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland (AOTI) is pleased to invite expressions of interest for council membership.
Who are the council?
The council and the directors are the governance structure of the association. The council have executive and strategic functions which are crucial for the profession's development. The council consists of 12 voting members of the association, elected by the membership for a 2 year term at the annual general meeting.
Are you?
- A qualified Occupational Therapist
- Registered with CORU or in the process of being registered
- A member of the AOTI
- Interested in being directly involved with shaping your profession
- Interested in pursuing new directions for your career in Occupational Therapy

Your Commitment:
- Two year term
- Attendance at monthly meetings; face to face and teleconferences
- Attendance and contribution to additional meetings or various events that may require AOTI representation
- Participation in project work
- Represent council as a member of one of the committees of council; governance, communication or practice
- Email and phone communication as needed
