AOTI Ann Beckett Award 2014
Winner Announced....
The winners of the 2014 AOTI Ann Beckett Award are Jenny Smyth and Neasa Caulfield of the Louth Primary Care Centre, Dundalk.
The winning Occupational Therapy led project is: “Sharing Skills”.
It is a Programme of educational seminars for parents, carers, teachers, school support staff and other health care professionals involved with children who have sensory motor difficulties. Their Project was a worthy winner and faced stiff opposition from other Project submissions.
Congratulations to all who submitted Projects for this year's Award. They do indeed reflect the very healthy innovative approaches to O.T. Interventions that are taking place around the country in these challenging times.
The Ann Beckett Award sculpture and Certificates will be presented to winners at this year's AOTI Conference dinner in Galway on Friday, 27th March 2015.
Applications are now open for submissions for the 2015 Award. Application Form and all details can be found on the AOTI website.
