Madagascar - Establishment of Occupational Therapy Development - Amazon Wishlist
The establishment of the occupational therapy profession in Madagascar is at a critical and pivotal stage. The Madagascar Association of Occupational Therapy (AMET) was founded in 2012 and joined the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) as an Associate Member in 2014.

The establishment of the occupational therapy profession in Madagascar is at a critical and pivotal stage. The Madagascar Association of Occupational Therapy (AMET) was founded in 2012 and joined the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) as an Associate Member in 2014. There is an urgent need to provide educational resources for practitioners, educators and students through the “Growing the Nations Therapy Programme”. WFOT revised its policy on the donation of unwanted/out of date text books by supporting the provision of current evidence based materials.
