The Accreditation Committee - membership opportunity

The Accreditation Committee of the Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland (AOTI) is pleased to invite expressions of interest for committee membership.

Are you? 

  • A Manager, Clinical Specialist, or Senior Occupational Therapist currently working in any clinical area in the Republic of Ireland
  • A member of the AOTI
  • Interested in education and practice education or looking to broaden your areas of interest
  • Looking for a cost-free, well supported environment to acquire new knowledge and skills
  • Interested in pursuing new directions for your career in Occupational Therapy 

The Opportunity:

You will learn how to plan and deliver the Accreditation/ Re-Accreditation of Occupational Therapy professional qualification programmes in Ireland and learn from experienced committee members. 

The Benefits:

  • An opportunity to become proficient in accrediting Occupational Therapy professional qualification programmes on behalf of the AOTI and approving these programmes on behalf of the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT)
  • Gain CPD points

Your Commitment:

  • Three years committee membership
  • Attendance at approximately five meetings per year
  • Preparation for and participation in Accreditation/ Re- Accreditation panel visits to Universities
  • Participation in project work when required
  • Email and phone communication as needed
