Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Disorders Advisory Group (RMDAG) are delighted to invite you to join in this webinar. This online CPD session is aimed at clinicians working with people with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS)/Hypermobility.
The session is being presented by Allard Support UK Ltd. Allard became aware of the need for specialised garments for people suffering with the effects of hypermobility syndrome disorders and began the research, development, and manufacturing process for HyMo.
This live virtual session aims to:
• Increase your knowledge and understanding of hypermobility, EDS and where hypermobility is a feature of a condition.
• Give you the knowledge and information needed to identify clinical presentations that may benefit from the use of HyMo textile orthosis.
• Make you aware of the indications and contraindications for the use of HyMo textile orthosis.
• Give you an understanding of the function and design options of HyMo
• Help you understand the procedures of how to request further assistance in the assessment and measurement of appropriate patients

Lydia has over 47 years’ experience as an OT, with 37 years’ experience in delivering and teaching hand therapy and splinting the hand as well as 29 years’ experience in the clinical application of Lycra® garments as an adjunct to therapy intervention.
