The Palliative Care and Oncology Advisory Group annual study day is taking place on the 29th of January 2025 in the Education Centre, St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15. Online attendance is available on request, email [email protected] to request virtual attendance. Please note that the same price applies for in person and online attendance.
The theme for the 2025 study day is communication and inclusion in oncology and palliative care.
There will be a presentation and workshop on complex communication with individuals with life limiting illness, speakers on occupational therapy and end of life considerations for the LGBTQIA+ community, updates from the HSE National Lead for Palliative Care on the newly published National Adult Palliative Care Policy, the National Acute Oncology and Haematology Occupational Therapy Network and more.
We are also accepting expressions of interest for poster presentations on service initiatives, clinical audits or research projects. If you wish to present a poster please email [email protected] with a short description of the initiative or complete this brief application form by the 10th of January 2025.
*If you wish to present a poster you will be required to attend in-person on the day.
