Return to Practice

Return to practice is guided by CORU. Please find Return to Practice Document in the Useful documents section. It is not available on the CORU website. Applicants usually phone or email CORU about return to practice to talk through the process. This is to ascertain if return to practice is necessary. Sometimes applicants may have practiced in the UK which is considered in practice or have practice in another country which the Board can consider. Sometimes an applicant may be in a related field which the Board can consider in relation to OT practice and theory. Applicants are welcome to apply for Registration and the Board can direct them to return to practise if necessary. Or if the applicant is sure themselves, they can opt to complete return to practise and submit it at the same time as an application for registration.
