AOTI Awards
The AOTI Awards recognise and celebrate the contribution of AOTI members working across Occupational Therapy services in Ireland. They are an opportunity to acknowledge excellence in practice, leadership, research, education and service development, and to highlight the impact Occupational Therapy has in people’s lives every day.
As the professional body for Occupational Therapy in Ireland, AOTI believes it is important not only to advocate for the profession, but also to recognise the work of our members. Across acute hospitals, primary care, mental health services, disability services, schools, community organisations and many other settings, Occupational Therapists are strengthening services, leading change and supporting people to participate more fully in their everyday lives. Much of this work happens quietly. The Awards provide an opportunity to recognise that contribution and to showcase it more widely.
Our Awards reflect the values of the profession. They recognise innovation grounded in evidence, leadership that brings others with it, collaboration across disciplines and services, and a clear commitment to improving outcomes for individuals, families and communities.
Through the AOTI Awards, we aim to:
· Celebrate excellence and professional integrity
· Share and showcase examples of practice that can inform and inspire others
· Strengthen professional identity and pride
· Encourage ongoing development and leadership within Occupational Therapy
The AOTI Awards recognise the commitment, impact and leadership of AOTI members and affirm the important role Occupational Therapy plays across health, education and social care in Ireland.
